Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mint Medical Clinic website, our text messaging program, and our related services. "Mint Medical Clinic," "we," "our," and "us" refer to Mint Medical Clinic, with locations in Sandy and Layton, Utah. By using our website or services, or by opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
Program Description
The Mint Medical Clinic Patient Messaging program sends text messages to patients and prospective patients who opt in. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling and rescheduling notices, replies to your questions, post-visit follow-ups, intake form, lab, prescription, and order or shipping notifications, and billing reminders. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive promotional offers and clinic news.
How to Opt In
You can opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website contact or intake form, by completing our new patient intake paperwork, by giving consent to our staff by phone or in person, or by texting START to our clinic number. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Mint Medical Clinic at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointments, orders, and interactions with our clinic.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Mint Medical Clinic does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again. To rejoin, reply START or contact our office.
Getting Help
If you have trouble with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at (801) 804-8000 or privacy@mintmedicalclinic.com.
Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier's network and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
We will not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
Not for Emergencies
Our text messaging program is not monitored around the clock and is not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Eligibility and Changes to Your Number
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number you provide, or have the account holder's permission, to participate. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please notify us or reply STOP from the old number so we do not send messages to its new owner.
2. Use of Our Website
Our website provides general information about Mint Medical Clinic, our providers, services, and products. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, or use it to transmit harmful or unlawful content.
3. No Medical Advice

4. Appointments, Telehealth, and Prescriptions
Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or in person. Telehealth visits are subject to provider review and applicable state law, and some services require an in-person visit. Prescription products, including compounded medications, are dispensed only when a licensed provider determines they are appropriate for you. We may decline to provide a service or product if it is not medically appropriate.
5. Payments and Purchases
Prices for services and products are listed on our website or provided at the time of your visit and may change without notice. You agree to pay all charges incurred under your account. Refund and return eligibility for products depends on the item; prescription medications generally cannot be returned once dispensed. Contact us with any billing questions.

Our website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mint Medical Clinic and its owners, providers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or text messaging program. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for professional medical care.
